Cricket Albertson even edited a sermon on the topic of discipleship from her grandfather and Coppedge's father-in-law, Dr. Dennis Kinlaw (whose funeral is tomorrow, as I write this).It was the easiest job I ever accomplished; gathering this noteworthy and prominent list of participants required little more than a single electronic missive. Everyone I contacted wanted to honor this man. They couldn't seem to say "yes" fast enough. Potential contributors were not confined to the academic community, though many are professors in Christian higher education. Allan Coppedge didn't disciple people merely for college and graduate level schools nor is discipleship a primarily academic undertaking.
