Book Description
This book was written to help inspire Christians that want to know why things happen to them after they have chosen to live for the Lord. There was a time when I felt loneliness and began seeking a man for companionship because I thought that would settle my dream of a romantic marriage. I finally realized I had made a mistake and stopped and returned to God for His guidance. I realize there are times that will become difficult for Christians to remain faithful to God. I have described some descriptions in my book about temptations that led me astray. I also describe the various ways Christians can remain faithful to Him. One example is the only one that can fix us and put us back together right is God. God made us in His own image; He is the only one who knows us inside and out. After all, He is the potter and we are the clay. We say we listen to Him, but do we? We should listen to Him with our spirit. We also should not use our talents for our benefit or glory, but for God, church, and others who may be comforted or helped during our ministering of God-given talents.

Book Description
Geared to readers from preschool to age eight, What Makes a Baby is a book for every kind of family and every kind of kid. It is a twenty-first century children’s picture book about conception, gestation, and birth, which reflects the reality of our modern time by being inclusive of all kinds of kids, adults, and families, regardless of how many people were involved, their orientation, gender and other identity, or family composition. Just as important, the story doesn’t gender people or body parts, so most parents and families will find that it leaves room for them to educate their child without having to erase their own experience. Written by a certified sexuality educator, Cory Silverberg, and illustrated by award-winning Canadian artist Fiona Smyth, What Makes a Baby is as fun to look at as it is useful to read.

Book Description
In What Babies Say Before They Can Talk, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Paul C. Holinger, M.D., M.P.H., a explains how infants communicate with us, and we with them, and outlines the nine easily identifiable signals that will help you to decode your baby’s needs and feelings. Dr. Holinger decodes the nine easily identifiable signals—interest, enjoyment, surprise, distress, anger, fear, shame, disgust (a reaction to bad tastes), and dissmell (a reaction to bad smells)—that all babies use to express their needs and wants. These insights will aid parents in discerning what their baby is feeling. This book can help all parents become more confident and self-aware in their interactions with their children, create positive communication, and put the joy back into parenting. This is a unique work. It provides a foundation for understanding feelings and behavior. Based on emerging research, What Babies Say Before They Can Talk offers parents a new perspective on their babies' sense of the world and the people around them. The goal of this book is to help parents enhance their infants' potential, prevent problems, and raise happy, healthy, responsible children.

Book Description
Parents love their children, but how well do they understand them? This book is a contribution to making the general public aware that children can be understood if grown-ups do what is required - that is, try to make sense of what children do with their time to change it into experience. What children do varies with their ages. The different tasks of different periods is what we shall explore in this three-part book. The first part focuses on babies, the second part on young children, the third part on adolescents. Insights into each of these stages are expanded in Gattegno's age-specific trilogy The Universe of Babies, Of Boys and Girls, and The Adolescent and His Will.

Book Description
Graham Ramsden's insightful new book helps understand why people, particularly children, bully others. It utilises research from a wide variety of psychological and sociological sources to explore the context of bullying from both a historical viewpoint as well as from a social perspective. It delves into the psychology of those people who choose to bully and helps the reader to understand why some people bully others and why some do not. The closing chapters use this understanding to explore a variety of ways schools and other education settings can use their existing systems and structures to address this endemic issue.

Book Description
The loss of a baby, however it occurs, can be heartbreaking and painful and leave parents in need of support as they grieve. While awareness about baby loss is increasing, the suffering and sadness, isolation and loneliness parents feel is often invisible and it can be hard for them to reach out, and for those around them to know how best to support them. Why Baby Loss Matters explores what happens when families experience baby loss or the end of a pregnancy, drawing on the first-hand experiences of parents who have navigated life and the fourth trimester without their baby, and the vital work of charities and services which offer support. By examining different approaches to coping with the loss of a baby and keeping memories alive, the book offers insight into the ways that families have found the support and peace that they need to continue living after saying goodbye.
