This study is a contribution to the history of disabled veterans in Great Britain and the United States during World War I (1914-1918) and two decades after the war. Ms. Keller compares rehabilitation institutions of Great Britain and the United States and their treatments for the rehabilitation of disabled soldiers during the war, including medical treatments, therapeutic treatments, and vocational training.
