This project evaluated the Canadian Standards Association Code for the Design, Construction, and Installation of Fixed Offshore Structures in its application to the design of an actual steel jacket structure. The evaluation compared the results of a design based on the CSA standards to British Petroleum's GYDA platform, applying the design criteria and environmental conditions used in the original design and focusing on the jacket structure and the pile foundations only.
