Book Description
All Is Grace: A Memoir of Finding Grace in Marriage through Mental Illness invites you to find holy, abundant grace in your own wilderness of mental illness and to tear off the veil of lies about your suffering. As Samantha Cabrera takes you on her journey through her mental illness in marriage, she gently comforts your wandering and wondering soul to find grace in the waiting and the pain of major depressive disorder and symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder; she demonstrates how God turned her broken pain into transfiguring pain. She shows you how her own unspoken pain was always—always—met with grace and through this, you may find hope for your own healing. You will find yourself meeting grace at the turning of a page and begin to wonder at the love God shows you; it was through the grace and prayers of her husband that Samantha began to see God's radical grace in her own life, and thus, was able to change because of it. Isn't this what grace does? It doesn't leave us the same. He doesn't leave us the same. Aside from journeying with Samantha through her own mental illness, she inspires readers to end the silence of mental health and to become strong advocates for their own unspoken pain. All Is Grace: A Memoir of Finding Grace in Marriage through Mental Illness will give you the hope to breathe and to know that while it may feel like you're a dried pressed flower—it takes seeing the grace of God to know you're still breathing, still alive, and still flourishing. If you suffer from any mental illness, this book will sit with you in your pain, whisper consolations to your one broken heart, and tell you that there is a holy hope that exists if you only take part in it.

Book Description
As bearers of the divine image, all of us are storytellers and artists. However, few people today believe in truth that is not empirically knowable or verifiable, the sort of truth often trafficked through direct forms of communication. Drawing on the works of Soren Kierkegaard, Benson P. Fraser challenges this penchant for direct forms of knowledge by introducing the indirect approach, which he argues conveys more than mere knowledge, but the capability to live out what one takes to be true. Dr. Fraser suggests that stories aimed at the heart are powerful instruments for personal and social change because they are not focused directly on the individual listener; rather, they give the individual room or distance to reconsider old meanings or ways of understanding. Indirect communication fosters human transformation by awaking an individual to attend to images or words that carry deep symbolic force and that modify or replace one's present ways of knowing, and ultimately make one capable of embodying what he or she believes. Through an examination of the indirect approach in Kierkegaard, Jesus, C. S. Lewis, and Flannery O'Connor, Fraser makes a strong case for the recovery of indirect strategies for communicating truth in our time.

Book Description
It is my great joy to introduce you to Wild Love, this volume of ecstatic poetry by Dreaming-Bear Baraka Kanaan. A true spoken word genius, Dreaming-Bear is this generation's poet laureate of the heart. Dreaming-Bear is a master of metaphor; "each molecule-mantra" tenderly kissing the soul's "supernova of senses." As you turn these pages, be prepared to be awakened as his eloquent and alluring words transport you to the "naked tenderness of truth" and the laughter and playfulness of "holy amorous mischief." Dreaming-Bear's spiritual DNA is powerful. A prodigy of Native American and Middle Eastern (Lebanese)decent, his ancestry illustrates a similar lineage with some of the worlds most profound poets: Gibran, Rumi, and Hafiz. Reminiscent of these poetic greats, Dreaming-Bear's understanding of science and spirit as well as his deep attunement to the whispers of nature allow you to see yourself as Lover and Beloved, in universal Oneness. Through his words we become enlightened, separation becomes an illusion, and a spiritual awakening unfolds. Our layers of identity, stories, victories, and laments to the Self that transcend personality disappear and we discover or our ultimate identity that is everyone and everything. Far from a state of self-delusion or escapism, this awakening represents the ultimate development of the most valuable qualities of human life: kindness, compassion, freedom, intelligence, and creativity. Under Dreaming-Bear's love spell, you will be ravished by "subatomic particles having a party" and will be moved to "undress your soul inside your heart's hallway." Together with Dreaming-Bear we can end the emotional ignorance of the past and learn to treat each other and ourselves with greater dignity and understanding. His work deserves a wide and universal audience of not only poetry lovers, but also of life lovers everywhere. His vision is fully worthy of our cosmic status as spiritual beings in human form. "Wild Love" can uplift the human race into human grace, where we can live "the light of a billion suns" and "surrender everything to love" for "tonight we dance!" - Harold Bloomfield, M.D., author of nineteen books including The New York Times best-seller "How to Survive the Loss of a Love." In the tradition of Rumi or Hafiz, Wild Love is a collection of love spells written in luminous word tapestries and divinely orchestrated to deeply inspire, passionately move, and spiritually intoxicate the reader to rise soul over senses in love. Through each heartfelt, magical, and poetic spell you will find yourself awakening to the unconditional love of Source, Lover, and the Earth.

Book Description
Rick Warren famously wrote, “It’s not about you.” But much of the Western church seems to disagree, having settled for a self-centered message of personal fulfillment. With incisiveness and a passionate love for the church, pastor and author Byron Forrest Yawn offers a compelling call away from narcissism and back to the powerful and transforming gospel of Jesus. He shows the difference between... Sunday-morning life coaches selling self-help seminars, and preachers proclaiming God’s redemptive work through Christ promises of prosperity and comfort, and a realistic and helpful perspective on suffering escape from unbelievers and their godless world, and redemptive engagement with people As Byron exposes the false gospel of “suburbianity,” he offers readers a better alternative: to look beyond themselves and embrace God’s call to be His image-bearers and ambassadors, partnering with Him as He restores people and all creation to His original design.
