Book Description
I have forgotten myself for many days while I was hearing the words of God, writing them, and editing them in the touch of the Holy Spirit since the day I began to experience the presence of God. When I was touched by the Holy Spirit, my body and mind were not mine, but these became instruments of God. I was I, but I was not I; I was I, but I could not move as I wish. Sometimes the quick voice of God came down and I wrote it. Sometimes the voice turned into sentences so that I was amazed to see them come into my mind and I wrote them down. These articles were not written one by one. When the Lord gave dozens of titles at a time, He also gave articles according to them. So I wrote down them. Sometimes I wrote articles without titles, and after writing He gave the titles. When I continue to write randomly, the former and the latter are often matched. Whatever message I received and wrote, I did not do anything for it. I wrote them only as an instrument of the Lord. And sometimes I entered into the hearts of the people the Holy Spirit has opened and I heard and wrote what their inner voices. There are also some articles that are based on what I heard from the conversations of others. In the mysterious and incredible world of God and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, I fell down before Him for twenty-six months in order to write these articles. The number of titles I received from Him was over one thousand and two hundred, and the number of articles I received was over nine hundred. When I received my first article, I prayed and God forcefully gave it to me. However, at this time I just pray in front of the keyboard in order to receive messages. I hope these messages from the Lord will reveal the greatness of the Lord and thereby I and all people glorify the Lord. I hope that the leaders and people who have broken God’s heart will turn to the right attitude because of these messages of the Lord, and those who have made the Lord’s heart sad will be the ones who please Him. Finally, at the end of each message of the Lord is provided the date or year of writing.

Book Description
This collection of writings by the author of Sons and Lovers presents his thoughts on religion, art, psychology and politics in a newly restored text. Though D. H. Lawrence was one of the great writers of the twentieth century, his works were severely corrupted by the stringent house-styling of printers and the intrusive editing of timid publishers. A team of scholars at Cambridge University Press has worked for more than thirty years to restore the definitive texts of D. H. Lawrence in The Cambridge Editions. Written while he was dying, Apocalypse is Lawrence’s final book. In it, he presents both a radical criticism of our civilization and a statement of unwavering belief in man’s power to create “a new heaven and a new earth.” This volume also includes Lawrence’s review of Book of Revelationby John Orman, and his Introduction to The Dragon of the Apocalypseby Frederick Carter. The Appendixes also present previously unpublished material on Revelation.

Book Description
The origin and emphasis of the Judeo-Christian faith began with the call of Abram. Concerning salvation, have you ever asked why there’s a need or a purpose for a call in the first place? And besides, who was God actually talking to in the land of Ur? Back Roads to Israel is a study of Jesus’s spiritual ancestry and background. Author Maxwell Thurston helps explain how Abraham, a man of flesh and bones, has a direct ancestral lineage to Jesus—because if Jesus is the Son of God, then there must be spiritual DNA that connects him with the Lord our God, who is in heaven. Knowing the spiritual avenues taken by Abraham will take us to the beginning of creation, when the living word was with God. If you are able to travel the unbeaten path, the back roads of Abraham, then it will help clear up confusion about Jesus—especially the part where we read, “From thy father’s house.”

Book Description
Reading after Actium is a study of Vergil's Georgics, a didactic poem ostensibly about farming but in fact a brilliant exercise challenging readers to develop a broader perspective on the basic problems and the dangers of human life. Octavian is treated as one of the poet's students and given the opportunity to learn lessons in handling power, in controlling Rome's vast resources, and in preventing the bloody cycle of civil war from beginning again. Most of all the Georgics asks Octavian to consider what is involved in assuming godlike power over his fellow citizens. Reading after Actium provides an introduction to the history of scholarship surrounding the Georgics and the political questions surrounding Octavian and his career. Nappa gives a book by book analysis of the entire poem, and a conclusion that draws together the themes of the whole. Reading after Actium will appeal to students and critics of Vergil and other Augustan Literature as well as those of didactic poetry and its traditions. Students of Roman history and politics should read this as well. Christopher Nappa is Assistant Professor of Classics at the University of Minnesota.
