Such a liberation does occur, not as a result of wearing glasses, but in spite of their use. It would have just as readily occurred if these persons had' religiously shunned glasses When they really needed them. The need for glasses is based on deviation in the size or shape of the eyeball from the normal. The question Of tinted glasses for everyday use is one that has raised many controversies.
