Book Description
Excerpt from Who's Who Along the North Shore of Massachusetts Bay The North Shore has continued to add to its many attractions. It has opened up many miles of woods roads that must be seen to be appreciated. It is impossible to describe the joy one feels in strolling through these Shady lanes which wind in and out among the hills, through the vales and across little rustic bridges which span tiny streams gliding between mossy banks and grassy hummocks away to the sea. The North Shore has an unrivalled position as a summer resort. It not only has the bold, rugged Shore front that is lashed by the billows of the Atlantic but it possesses a wealth of verdure of evergreen and deciduous trees which cover every hill as far as the eye can reach and extend to the very waters edge.
