This journalism master's project includes a professional work component and a research component. The professional work component consists of three parts: 1) photographing bike messengers in Baltimore City, Maryland during the summer; 2) editing the images to construct an essay, telling the story of the subjects; 3) working on the presentation of the edit and the text, including a design for the book of photographs, essays and extended captions.
