Book Description
Announcing A Major Break-Through In The Science Of Hair Loss And Male Pattern Baldness A radical new theory has recently been published which explains that HAIR LOSS and MALE PATTERN BALDNESS are really caused by TWO factors and not just one, as was previously thought. Stop Hair Loss and Grow New Hair with the Maliniak Method The first factor, which is the radical new element, is the third layer of the TOP of the scalp called the GALEA which becomes very "tight" in some people, disrupts ordinary blood flow to the follicles and sets in motion the sequence of events which triggers hair loss. The role of the GALEA has been debated for years, but this new theory provides the rationale for concluding that it must be involved because men only go bald in the areas where this GALEA exists and nowhere else. The second factor is still dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which this new theory now states only accumulates due to this restricted blood flow and which is still the actual "killer" of follicles, as per the conventional wisdom. Even more significantly, this theory also concludes that "dormant" follicles can in fact be revived to produce hair again contrary to everything we were previously told. The new theory is called the MALINIAK METHOD and is published by BORN AGAIN, The Alternate Science Company. More importantly, this theory also provides a simple new two-step treatment method which first relaxes the GALEA with simple massage techniques to restore proper blood flow to the top of the scalp. It then stimulates the dormant follicles to produce hair again with an electrical stimulation device which revives the use of an old established science derived from NIKOLA TESLA. It has been around for one hundred years and is still being used to this day but in other applications. It has been adopted and adapted in the MALINIAK METHOD to treat HAIR LOSS because that is one of the purposes it was used for originally. Two independent scientific studies have recently been published which confirm the validity of the TWO main premises of the MALINIAK METHOD. One of them is from the CROWN institute in Pickering, Ontario, which confirms that the GALEA is in fact involved in hair loss and male pattern baldness. It also concludes that a reduction in the oxygen going to the follicles causes DHT to be overproduced, adding another explanation for why this "tightness" of the scalp is at the root of this problem. The second study is from the University of Pennsylvania which found that certain types of STEM CELLS called "progenitor" cells are more numerous in non-bald areas and that these dormant cells can in fact be induced to become "progenitor" cells, in effect, be "revived" and induced to produce hair again, contrary to the previous knowledge and as predicted by the MALINIAK METHOD.

Book Description
The content of this volume has been added to eMagRes (formerly Encyclopedia of Magnetic Resonance) - the ultimate online resource for NMR and MRI. The literature of multidimensional NMR began with the publication of three papers in 1975, then nine in 1976 and fifteen in 1977, and now contains many tens of thousands of papers. Any attempt to survey the field must therefore necessarily be very selective, not to say partial. In assembling this handbook, the Editors have sought to provide both the new researcher and the established scientist with a solid foundation for the understanding of multidimensional NMR, a representative if inevitably limited survey of its applications, an authoritative account of classic techniques such as COSY, NOESY and TOSCY, and an account of the latest progress in the development of multidimensional techniques. This handbook is structured in four parts. The first opens with an historical introduction to, and a brief account of, the practicalities and applications of multidimensional NMR methods, followed by a definitive survey of their conceptual basis and a series of articles setting out the generic principles of methods for acquiring and processing multidimensional NMR data. In the second part, the main families of multidimensional techniques, arranged in approximate order of increasing complexity, are described in detail, from simple J-resolved spectroscopy through to the powerful heteronuclear 3D and 4D methods that now dominate the study of structural biology in solution. The third part offers and illustrative selection from the very wide range of applications of multidimensional NMR methods, including some of the most recent developments in protein NMR. Finally, the fourth part introduces the idea of multidimensional spectra containing non-frequency dimensions, in which properties such as diffusion and relaxation are correlated. About EMR Handbooks / eMagRes Handbooks The Encyclopedia of Magnetic Resonance (up to 2012) and eMagRes (from 2013 onward) publish a wide range of online articles on all aspects of magnetic resonance in physics, chemistry, biology and medicine. The existence of this large number of articles, written by experts in various fields, is enabling the publication of a series of EMR Handbooks / eMagRes Handbooks on specific areas of NMR and MRI. The chapters of each of these handbooks will comprise a carefully chosen selection of articles from eMagRes. In consultation with the eMagRes Editorial Board, the EMR Handbooks / eMagRes Handbooks are coherently planned in advance by specially-selected Editors, and new articles are written (together with updates of some already existing articles) to give appropriate complete coverage. The handbooks are intended to be of value and interest to research students, postdoctoral fellows and other researchers learning about the scientific area in question and undertaking relevant experiments, whether in academia or industry. Book Description
Why do states do what they do? Who are the relevant nonstate actors in international politics and why do they do what they do? What causes conflict and cooperation in the international system? These are some of the most basic questions that the discipline of International Relations (IR) seeks to answer; they are also the questions that drive the objectives, organization and content of this book. International Politics: Classic and Contemporary Readings, Second Edition seeks to help students engage critically with some of the world’s most challenging questions through the use of leading classic and contemporary scholarship in the field of international relations. The first five chapters of the book explore the leading theoretical traditions in international relations, while subsequent chapters explore the themes of international security, international political economy, and contemporary challenges in international relations. This organization makes the book easy to use as standalone text or alongside core text. Class-tested on over 10,000 students in the last decade, this text was built from the ground up to introduce students to the traditions and new foundations of international relations as well to the principles of intellectually rigorous thought.

Book Description
Chemical sensors are in high demand for applications as varied as water pollution detection, medical diagnostics, and battlefield air analysis. Designing the next generation of sensors requires an interdisciplinary approach. The book provides a critical analysis of new opportunities in sensor materials research that have been opened up with the use of combinatorial and high-throughput technologies, with emphasis on experimental techniques. For a view of component selection with a more computational perspective, readers may refer to the complementary volume of Integrated Analytical Systems edited by M. Ryan et al., entitled “Computational Methods for Sensor Material Selection”.

Book Description
This book identifies and addresses subtle but important questions and issues associated with the configuration of International Relations as a discipline. Starting with a much-needed discussion of manifold implications and issues associated with pluralism, the book raises important questions, such as where does the field of IR stand in terms of epistemological, theoretical, and methodological diversity. The book also carries out a comparative analysis of the present status of post-positivist IR scholarship in the United States and China.Eun discusses these questions through a close reading of the key texts in the field and by undertaking a critical survey of publishing and teaching practices in IR communities. IR scholars will gravitate to this text that fills many gaps in international political theory.

Book Description
This is a book on methods, how scholars embody them and how working within, from or against Constructivism has shaped that use and embodiment. A vibrant cross-section of contributors write of interdisciplinary encounters, first interactions with the ‘discipline’ of International Relations, discuss engagements in different techniques and tactics, and of pursuing different methods ranging from ethnographic to computer simulations, from sociology to philosophy and history. Presenting a range of voices, many constructivist, some outside and even critical of Constructivism, the volume shows methods as useful tools for approaching research and political positions in International Relations, while also containing contingent, inexact, unexpected, and even surprising qualities for opening further research. It gives a rich account of how the discipline was transformed in the 1990s and early 2000s, and how this shaped careers, positions and interactions. It will be of interest to both students and scholars of methods and theory in International Relations and global politics.
