From the best-selling author of Crossing Oceans comes a heartrending yet uplifting story of friendship and redemption. On the cusp of adulthood, eighteen-year-old Penny Carson is swept off her feet by a handsome farmhand with a confident swagger. Though Trent Taylor seems like Prince Charming and offers an escape from her one-stop-sign town, Penny’s happily-ever-after lasts no longer than their breakneck courtship. Before the ink even dries on their marriage certificate, he hits her for the first time. It isn’t the last, yet the bruises that can’t be seen are the most painful of all. When Trent is injured in a welding accident and his paycheck stops, he has no choice but to finally allow Penny to take a job cleaning houses. Here she meets two women from very different worlds who will teach her to live and laugh again, and lend her their backbones just long enough for her to find her own.

In this Renegade Angels novella from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Crossfire series, a powerful angel breaks all the rules by falling for the mortal whose life she’s saved… Chained in the dark, Trevor Descansos endures pain and terror as vampires slowly drain the life from him. He finds mercy in Sentinel Siobhán, a beautiful avenging angel with lethal wings. She draws Trevor from the depths of hell, wrapping him in the softness of the same feathers that she wielded like blades to cut down his tormentors. Ageless and eternal, Siobhán has seen too much to be surprised by anything, but the mortal she finds in the pit of a vampire den shakes her to the core. Broken and near death, his ravaged masculine beauty stirs the heart she hadn't realized she possessed. Though she’s tasked with eradicating the vampire disease sweeping across her world, she nurses Trevor back to health, healing him even as he awakens a forbidden longing. Book Description
Over the years, Christian historiography has overlooked Carrie Judd Montgomery?s (1858-1946) significant contribution to both the Divine Healing movement and Pentecostalism. Her 1879 healing account, early healing homes, and contribution to the formation of the doctrine of healing in the atonement make her one of the most influential people in the American Divine Healing movement. Following her 1908 tongues experience, Montgomery additionally impacted early Pentecostalism by spreading its themes throughout her networks and introducing many significant leaders to the Pentecostal Spirit baptism. An analysis of Montgomery?s writings from 1880-1920 reveal that the prayer of faith in James 5 and healing in the atonement were two of the major foundations in her theology of healing. Further, her pneumatology reveals that she actively pursued the fullness of the Spirit, also at times referred to as?Spirit baptism,? both before and after her own 1908 tongues experience. While speaking in tongues enhanced her spirituality and added a new flavor to her ministry, it did not produce any major shifts within her theology of healing. In light of her experiences with the Spirit throughout the years, a present day approach for revivals and a proposed redefinition of the Pentecostal Spirit baptism are presented.

Book Description
Sets of seven. 666. The Whore of Babylon and the Seven-headed Beast. How would first-century readers have heard these things? One can get at an answer by asking, How does the Book of Revelation compare with contemporaneous Jewish apocalypses? God's Timetable unlocks the hitherto unseen Jewish background to the Apocalypse based on the seven weeks leading up to Pentecost, the Harvest Feast. The meaning of Revelation suddenly becomes clearer. Stramara situates the Book of Revelation in its original context as a prophetic work regarding the end of the world, the final harvest, and Jesus as the fulfillment of expectations.
