Book Description
IF MOTHER EARTH IS TO SURVIVE, MANKIND HAS GOT TO GO: How could a race of beings that developed heated car seats as an essential comfort to their sorry asses ever been allowed to cohabitate with the wonder-filled world of Mother Nature? How could this selfish, self-serving race of beings ever have been granted the privilege of citizenship within such a fragile ecosystem as the natural world of planet Earth? A fragile ecosystem that man has now all but destroyed. Nature will probably not be able to survive mankind, and if nature fails, mankind fails. The simple solution is to save nature and to discard man. And that’s an absurd statement as nature should really include mankind, but man has lost his status in nature through his indifference. Nature is really everything and man is really nothing in the great scheme of things so the solution is a no brainer, right? Man, if asked, would say that of course he wants to be saved, but in reality, he isn’t yet ready to do what is needed to achieve this saving, to save himself, from himself. Nature is the innocent party here and everyone will be sympathetic to the innocent party, right? In the beginning, all living things were given the tools to live together on planet Earth, and to live in perfect harmony, including mankind. All living things, including mankind, were given all of the Earth’s resources to use to achieve this perfect life. The creatures, the plants, and even early man, were vastly enjoying this, and they were all living the good life together. That is until God’s new improved, “aware man” came along, and all of that just wasn’t enough for him any longer. Mankind wanted more—so much more than poor old Mother Earth could ever begin to deliver. Mankind just could not and would not work within any basic and reasonable restrictions. The Book of Job: tells us that; humans must live in harmony with nature and seek to learn from its wise and mysterious ways: “But ask the beasts, and they will teach you; the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or the plants of the Earth, and they will teach you; and the fish of the sea will declare to you.” https://www.google.com/search?q=the+book+of+job+tells+us+to+live+in+harmony+with+nature

Book Description
Humans--creators in training--have a purpose and destiny so heartwarmingly, profoundly glorious that it is almost unbelievable from our present dimensional perspective. Humans are great lightbeings from beyond this creation, gaining experience in dense physicality by slowing down the creative process in order to feel the results and consequences of their decisions and actions. This truth about the great human genetic experiment of the Explorer Race and the mechanics of creation is being revealed for the first time by Zoosh and his friends as humanity begins to awaken to its true nature. Zoosh and a great assortment of beings who have never spoken to the physical plane before--from particles to All That Is--speak vibrantly through superchannel Robert Shapiro. Each personality has its own knowing, perception and expertise as it shares its history, its present focus and the awesome truth about humanity's mission. The books read like adventure stories as we follow the clues from this creation we live in out to the Council of Creators and beyond. As we explore the greater reality beyond our planet, our galaxy, our dimension, our creation, we meet prototypes, designers, shapemakers, creators, creators of creators and friends of our Creator, who explain their roles in this creation and their experiences before and beyond this creation. As our awareness expands about the way creation works, our awareness of who we are expands and we realize that a part of ourselves is in that vast creation -- and that we are much greater and more magnificent than even science fiction had led us to believe. Join us in the adventure of discovery. It's mind-stretching.

Book Description
From The New Yorker’s fiercely original, Pulitzer Prize-winning culture critic, a provocative collection of new and previously published essays arguing that we are what we watch. “Emily Nussbaum is the perfect critic—smart, engaging, funny, generous, and insightful.”—David Grann, author of Killers of the Flower Moon NAMED ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY NPR • Chicago Tribune • Esquire • Library Journal • Kirkus Reviews From her creation of the “Approval Matrix” in New York magazine in 2004 to her Pulitzer Prize–winning columns for The New Yorker, Emily Nussbaum has argued for a new way of looking at TV. In this collection, including two never-before-published essays, Nussbaum writes about her passion for television, beginning with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the show that set her on a fresh intellectual path. She explores the rise of the female screw-up, how fans warp the shows they love, the messy power of sexual violence on TV, and the year that jokes helped elect a reality-television president. There are three big profiles of television showrunners—Kenya Barris, Jenji Kohan, and Ryan Murphy—as well as examinations of the legacies of Norman Lear and Joan Rivers. The book also includes a major new essay written during the year of MeToo, wrestling with the question of what to do when the artist you love is a monster. More than a collection of reviews, the book makes a case for toppling the status anxiety that has long haunted the “idiot box,” even as it transformed. Through it all, Nussbaum recounts her fervent search, over fifteen years, for a new kind of criticism, one that resists the false hierarchy that elevates one kind of culture (violent, dramatic, gritty) over another (joyful, funny, stylized). I Like to Watch traces her own struggle to punch through stifling notions of “prestige television,” searching for a more expansive, more embracing vision of artistic ambition—one that acknowledges many types of beauty and complexity and opens to more varied voices. It’s a book that celebrates television as television, even as each year warps the definition of just what that might mean. FINALIST FOR THE PEN/DIAMONSTEIN-SPIELVOGEL AWARD FOR THE ART OF THE ESSAY “This collection, including some powerful new work, proves once and for all that there’s no better American critic of anything than Emily Nussbaum. But I Like to Watch turns out to be even greater than the sum of its brilliant parts—it’s the most incisive, intimate, entertaining, authoritative guide to the shows of this golden television age.”—Kurt Andersen, author of Fantasyland “Reading Emily Nussbaum makes us smarter not just about what we watch, but about how we live, what we love, and who we are. I Like to Watch is a joy.”—Rebecca Traister

Book Description
From one of America’s most influential psychiatrists, an “extraordinary” and “profound” (New York Times) manifesto for reimagining justice for survivors of sexual trauma The #MeToo movement brought worldwide attention to sexual violence, but while the media focused on the fates of a few notorious predators who were put on trial, we heard far less about the outcomes of those trials for the survivors of their abuse. The conventional retributive process fails to serve most survivors; it was never designed for them. Renowned trauma expert Judith L. Herman argues that the first step toward a better form of justice is simply to ask survivors what would make things as right as possible for them. In Truth and Repair, she commits the radical act of listening to survivors. Recounting their stories, she offers an alternative vision of justice as healing for survivors and their communities. Deeply researched and compassionately told, Truth and Repair envisions a new path to justice for all.
