Book Description
This new edition again includes the extended range of pipe size that covers European standards as well as those for the newer materials now widely adopted in the UK. The book's main objective is to aid Colebrook-White assessments of resistance in such pipes and in a great variety of free-surface circumstances including large rivers.

Book Description
The aim of these tables is to overcome limitations in the existing Hydraulics Research "Tables for the Hydraulic Design of Pipes and Sewers". The current edition of the tables is limited to pipe diameters of two metres and to a couple of pipe shapes. The additional tables which are designed to be used in conjunction with the existing 5th edition of "Tables for the Hydraulic Design of Pipes and Sewers" would extend the diameter to 20m. New interpolation procedures for part-full pipes and pipes of other cross-sectional shapes, other than circular and one particular form of egg-shape can be determined.

Book Description
The Most Thorough and Far-reaching Revision Yet! The new 5th edition of the Handbook of PVC Pipe Design and Construction is the most comprehensive and up-to-date reference on PVC pipe and fittings. It provides practical engineering and construction information. It includes recommendations applicable to the design and use of primarily underground PVC piping systems in both pressure and non-pressure applications. Previous editions have been used by engineers all across North America and around the globe in the utility and consulting engineering sectors, as well as in universities and technical institutions. New to the Fifth Edition Four new chapters PVC Pressure Pipe Installation PVC Non-Pressure Pipe Installation Trenchless Installation of PVC Pipe Molecularly Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe (PVCO) Updated and improved graphs and tables More open page format The collaborative result of thousands of hours of research and review, the contents of the 5th edition are numerically formatted by section and subsection, as well as by figure and table designation. This allows easy reference and quick access. The Handbook of PVC Pipe Design and Construction is a must-have reference for design engineers, public and private pipe utility managers, and students. Book Description
The second, enlarged edition of this established reference integrates many new insights into wastewater hydraulics. This work serves as a reference for researchers but also is a basis for practicing engineers. It can be used as a text book for graduate students, although it has the characteristics of a reference book. It addresses mainly the sewer hydraulician but also general hydraulic engineers who have to tackle many a problem in daily life, and who will not always find an appropriate solution. Each chapter is introduced with a summary to outline the contents. To illustrate application of the theory, examples are presented to explain the computational procedures. Further, to relate present knowledge to the history of hydraulics, some key dates on noteworthy hydraulicians are quoted. A historical note on the development of wastewater hydraulics is also added. References are given at the end of each chapter, and they are often helpful starting points for further reading. Each notation is defined when introduced, and listed alphabetically at the end of each chapter. This new edition includes in particular sideweirs with throttling pipes, drop shafts with an account on the two-phase flow features, as well as conduit choking due to direct or undular hydraulic jumps.
