Book Description
Empirical reality has been the focus of most scientific studies. But, humans have always been curious about how awareness, consciousness, sub-consciousness, or how the mind works. How are thoughts formed? Am I the mind? Is the brain responsible for consciousness? Are thoughts consciousness? Are there sub-conscious thoughts? Is the observable universe the truth? Is there a truth beyond reality? What is difference between a living being and a non-living being? What is the soul? If it is not about consciousness, the next curiosity has been about space, time and matter. Is space finite or infinite? If space is expanding, where is it expanding into? What is time? Are there extra dimensions to space? Is time the 4th dimension? How many dimensions are present? How does space and time relate to consciousness? If consciousness was not present, would there be space and time? Is this whole universe just a thought? Is there a consolidated thought that ties all living beings together? Surya Siddanta, the ancient sanskrit literature, when translated in the context of "emergence of reality", answers just these questions. The concepts presented are surprisingly different and highly thought provoking, making us question our own science which we hold as undisputable. The Surya Siddanta describes the various steps involved the formation of reality, as it traverses from that incomprehensible, unmanifested qualityless truth to the formation of an Individual. This book explores the ideas, the principles and concepts presented in Surya Siddanta, and explains the steps presented with equivalent examples as seen in technologies created by us.

Book Description
Beyond the Cosmic: Unveiling the Secrets of Bharat is an invitation to journey into a universe defined not just by galaxies and stars, but by spiritual realms, planes of consciousness, and the divine energies described in ancient Bharat’s scriptures. From the intricate cosmological maps of the Vedas to the philosophical depths of the Upanishads, ancient Indian thought offers a breathtaking view of the cosmos, layered with meaning, purpose, and interconnectedness. In this ebook, we delve into the ancient Indian perspective on the structure of the universe. This view encompasses not just the material world but multiple realms, or loks, each with its unique characteristics, inhabitants, and spiritual significance. We explore distance measurements that scale from the smallest units of time and space to vast cosmic distances, offering a vision of measurement rooted in spiritual significance and scientific insight. Each layer of the universe—from Bhu-Lok (Earth) to Satya-Lok (the realm of pure consciousness)—represents a different state of existence, connecting the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of reality. By examining the structure of the cosmos, spiritual practices, and the soul's journey through various realms, we aim to bring forward the rich cosmological and spiritual knowledge of ancient Bharat. This exploration is more than a scientific inquiry; it is a journey into the soul of the cosmos itself, revealing timeless principles that have the potential to reshape our understanding of life, consciousness, and the nature of reality. As you turn each page, may you find yourself inspired to look beyond the stars and, ultimately, within yourself, discover the boundless depths of wisdom that Bharat has offered to the world.

Book Description
In Pi (π) in Nature, Art, and Culture Marcel Danesi revisits the importance of π as a pattern in the structure of reality, fitting in with the Pythagorean view of Order. Pi has cropped up in formulas that describe natural and physical structures which, on the surface, seem to have nothing to do with a circle, but might harbor the archetype of circularity as a principle. Through π, this book thus revisits the implicit ancient Greek view that geometry was a 'hermeneutic science,' a discipline aiming to investigate the connectivity among numbers, shapes, and natural phenomena. It also examines its manifestations in aesthetic, symbolic and cultural structures, which point to an abiding fascination with the circle as an unconscious archetype. Hermeneutic geometry is ultimately about the exploration of the meanings of geometric-mathematical notions to science and human life.

Book Description
In the historical study of the Indian grammarian tradition, a line of demarcation can often be drawn between the conformity of a system with the well-known grammar of Pāṇini and the explanatory effectiveness of that system. One element of Pāṇini’s grammar that scholars have sometimes struggled to bring across this line of demarcation is the theory of homogeneity, or sāvarṇya, which concerns the final consonants in Pāṇini’s reference catalog, as well as phonetic similarities between sounds. While modern Sanskrit scholars understand how to interpret and apply Pāṇini’s homogeneity, they still find it necessary to unravel the history of varying interpretations of the theory in subsequent grammars. Madhav Deshpande’s The Theory of Homogeneity provides a thorough account of the historical development of the theory. Proceeding first to study this conception in the Pāṇinian tradition, Deshpande then passes on to other grammatical systems. Deshpande gives attention not only to the definitions of homogeneity in these systems but also the implementation of the theory in those respective systems. Even where definitions are identical, the concept may be applied quite differently, in which cases Deshpande examines by considering the historical relationships among the various systems.

Book Description
The roots between the Hindu religion and the wider culture are deep and uniquely complex. No study of either ancient or contemporary Indian culture can be undertaken without a clear understanding of Hindu visual arts and their sources in religious belief and practice. Defining what is meant by religion - no such term exists in Sanskrit - and what is understood by Hindu ideals of beauty, Heather Elgood provides the best synthesis and critical study of recent scholarship on the topic. In addition, this book offers critical background information for anyone interested in the social and anthropological roots of artistic creativity, as well as the rites, practices and beliefs of the hundreds of millions of Hindus in the world today.
