Book Description
A study was made of the initial interaction of atomic oxygen with various metals in steady flows which provide a step-function increase, or pulse, in the atom concentration. The observations were made by means of thin-film resistance thermometry. The results are presented under three categories as follows: surface recombination efficiencies, atom concentrations, and recombination heat transfer rate.
