Artificial Intelligence in Design '91 is a collection of 47 papers from the First International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Design held at Edinburgh in June 1991. In this book contemporary knowledge of superconductivity is set against its historical background. First, the highlights of superconductivity research in the twentieth century are reviewed.
