Book Description
She Hurts She Heals- eXcuse me “Mr” edition, is a poetry collection written throughout my life starting from my first love, when I gave away my virginity , encountered verbal abuse and finally, when I found that, “Lost Link of Love,” which was always the Lord. My book takes the reader on a personal journey that may seem familiar to their own lives. It’s a time line of events based on true relationship experiences. The good, the bad, the ugly, the sad and even some imagination. It includes drawings and photos to match as you, the traveler, partake in my poetic journey of rhymes. I want you to relate and/or remember how you felt and thought about your First Love, experienced Heart Break, encountered Cold Heartedness, or met that Perfect Someone. Did you really get over it? As you read along you can create your own journal and in the end decipher are you still hurt or have you truly healed from your past hurts. Many of these poems are attached to similar people that we meet throughout our lives. If you can’t relate you will learn. Allow my past to be a looking glass, an example that can potentially eliminate you from going through the unnecessary cycles of toxic relationships. In addition, I pray to encourage you to embrace the future. Do not allow your past to overtake your mind, your body or your life. The reality of living, means that you are still here and still breathing so slowly stand back up on your own two feet. Never stop running towards your future and never allow any person to intimidate your dreams. If you say to yourself, “my past doesn’t affect me and this book isn’t for me.” My advice to you is stop lying to yourself. If you’ve tasted the wine before it’s time or biblically speaking, awaken love before it’s time, before marriage, before that “right one”, this book is exactly for you, written and published... for... YOU. Take this journey with me and discover what my antidote was in overcoming it all. I hope you will find your cure, if not you pass it on. My prayer, is that all who read this book something will stand out; in order to help discover parts of yourself that need work in healing or be able to praise God for already healing and doing good works in you. I can only hope and pray that each woman and man reader walks away with the same antidote as I. May your hearts be filled with encouragement, ambition, and joy. Amen. From a mended heart, to the broken hearted, One thing I do: “Forgetting what is behind and straining for what is ahead, I press on toward the Goal to win the prize, for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13

Book Description
Internationally renowned Bible teacher Joyce Meyer draws on her own history of abuse to show women how Christ's redeeming love heals emotional wounds and brings joy to life. Can a woman who has been deeply hurt by life's circumstances be healed, heart and soul? If she has been wounded by a man she loved and trusted, can she love and trust again? As a woman who endured years of abuse, abandonment, and betrayal by those closest to her, Joyce Meyer can answer with a resounding "yes!" Meyer's positivity comes from living her own journey, and from seeing so many women who don't believe they can fully overcome their pain--or even know where to begin--find the guidance they need in the life-changing wisdom of the Bible. Meyer's bestseller Beauty for Ashes told of her personal story of healing. Now, with the passage of more time, HEALING THE SOUL OF A WOMAN delves deeper into Joyce's story and the journey of healing for all women. Each chapter guides you through whatever obstacles may be holding you back to find your true destiny as God's beloved. God can heal all pain, and He wants to do this in you. Let HEALING THE SOUL OF A WOMAN be the first step toward the wonderful, joyful future God intends for you.

Book Description
If you want to fix your rebellious and disrespectful child, you need to start by fixing yourself. Are your kids pummeling you with demands and bossing you around with impunity? Have your once-precious preschoolers become rebellious, entitled, and disrespectful to authority? While there are plenty of so-called experts who might try to validate your convictions that you have done all you can to “fix” your “difficult” children, the hard truth is, they’re not doing you any favors by placing the responsibility solely on your children. Parenting struggles rarely originate from just one side. Instead, they erupt at the volatile intersection of a child's personality with a parent's own insecurities and behaviors. In When Kids Call the Shots, therapist and parenting expert Sean Grover untangles the forces driving family dysfunction, and helps parents assume their leadership roles once again. Parents will discover: Three common bullying styles used by kids Parenting styles that contribute to power balances Critical testing periods in a child’s development Coping mechanisms that backfire Personalized plans for calmly exerting authority in any scenario The solution to any problem begins with learning to control what you can control. In parenting, you’ve already learned how impossible it is to control your kids. Begin by controlling you!

Book Description
We’ve been led to believe that when we get sick, it’s our genetics. Or it’s just bad luck—and doctors alone hold the keys to optimal health. For years, Lissa Rankin, M.D., believed the same. But when her own health started to suffer, and she turned to Western medical treatments, she found that they not only failed to help; they made her worse. So she decided to take matters into her own hands. Through her research, Dr. Rankin discovered that the health care she had been taught to practice was missing something crucial: a recognition of the body’s innate ability to self-repair and an appreciation for how we can control these self-healing mechanisms with the power of the mind. In an attempt to better understand this phenomenon, she explored peer-reviewed medical literature and found evidence that the medical establishment had been proving that the body can heal itself for over 50 years. Using extraordinary cases of spontaneous healing, Dr. Rankin shows how thoughts, feelings, and beliefs can alter the body’s physiology. She lays out the scientific data proving that loneliness, pessimism, depression, fear, and anxiety damage the body, while intimate relationships, gratitude, meditation, sex, and authentic self-expression flip on the body’s self-healing processes. In the final section of the book, you’ll be introduced to a radical new wellness model based on Dr. Rankin’s scientific findings. Her unique six-step program will help you uncover where things might be out of whack in your life—spiritually, creatively, environmentally, nutritionally, and in your professional and personal relationships—so that you can create a customized treatment plan aimed at bolstering these health-promoting pieces of your life. You’ll learn how to listen to your body’s "whispers" before they turn to life-threatening "screams" that can be prevented with proper self-care, and you’ll learn how to trust your inner guidance when making decisions about your health and your life. By the time you finish Mind Over Medicine, you’ll have made your own Diagnosis, written your own Prescription, and created a clear action plan designed to help you make your body ripe for miracles.
