Book Description
Ginger Knox thought she was living her best rom-com life. She had the job, the apartment in Notting Hill (adjacent), and an honest to God Hemsworth clone for a fianc, but when she arrived home one surprisingly sunny February afternoon to catch her man with his tighty whitey's around his ankles and his secretary *insert eye roll here* in their bed, the tenuous facade of her life dissolved in a split second. It was time for Ginger to become the leading lady in her own love life. And that's just what she planned to do until her life is, once again, thrown into disarray when her flight home for Christmas was grounded. Suddenly she's stranded in Istanbul, Turkey, with the man of her dreams. Of course, it's the same man she had the near one-night stand with - and who knew he was one of the most famous men in Turkey!Between Sydney, London and Istanbul, Ginger was resigned to the fact that she may never get her Happily Ever After, but what about her Happily Right Now?

Two men. One is perfect, the other... not so much. How do you choose between the man that you should be with and the man you want? _________________________________________________ What does a marriage proposal, a bout of projectile vomiting and a psychic reading all have in common? Nothing unless your name is Olive Russo. Olive has always done the right thing at the right time for the right reasons but when a psychic tells her she needs to choose a new path to her true destiny, she drops everything and runs away to the idyllic Mediterranean resort town of Bodrum, Turkey. Pulled in two very different directions, Olive needs to decide between Luca Oriati, the man that she has loved her entire life and the arrogantly bitter but still gorgeous-as-all-hell, Deniz Yilmaz. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Pomegranates and Olive is the feel-good romantic comedy that will make you root for love, laugh out loud, and reminds you to chase your own destiny. Maimonides On Coitus
Author:
Publisher: BRILL
ISBN: 9004380086
Category : Medical
Languages : en
Pages : 252
Book Description
Moses Maimonides' On Coitus was composed at the request of an unknown high-ranking official who asked for a regimen that would be easy to adhere to, and that would increase his sexual potency, as he had a large number of slave girls. It is safe to assume that it was popular in Jewish and non-Jewish circles, as it survives in several manuscripts, both in Arabic and Judaeo-Arabic. The present edition by Gerrit Bos contains the original Arabic text, three medieval Hebrew translations, two Latin versions from the same translation (edited by Charles Burnett), and a Slavonic translation (edited by Will Ryan and Moshe Taube).
