I say this fearing that some surviving friend of my youth may remember something in a different shape and be offended with my book. Under the influence of the lyrical drama of Medieval Japan called "Noh (N'gaku)," William Butler Yeats (1865-1939) wrote ten short plays to be performed for small elite audiences.
