Some of the basic content areas assigned in National Curriculum Framework are incorporated in this workbook. This book cannot replace any textbook of the referred standard of National Curriculum. It will be an added content upon the prescribed ones for developing and strengthening the basic understanding of mathematical concepts that the fellow students want to aspire for. It will also confer the regular mathematical practice with which one should move for reducing any specific problems related to the understanding of mathematical concepts. It is true that we cannot remember hundreds and thousands of different types of problems related to mathematics. We must try to equip ourselves differently for addressing all sorts of numerical and space related problems. Daily Practice Problem (DPP) series of publications deals with facilitation of fellow students and their associates. This workbook is suitable for students of class 3 of National Curriculum. It can be used by other fellow students of Primary section for improving their mathematical skills. It can be used by students who are willing to opt for IMO , NTSE and other similar examinations. Book Description
This book is in line with the United States Common Core Mathematics Initiative for Grades K-2. It includes objectives such as number decomposition, using place value to add and subtract, and other methods to help young children build number sense and learn how to add and subtract without finger counting. It is an excellent complement to the conceptual and procedural approach to the new curriculum and slowly builds concepts in small developmental steps while also factoring in constant review.

Book Description
Greetings! My name is Ms. Lanning, and I have personally developed and implemented this 4 square math model in my classroom. I can attest that this systematic approach is the greatest contribution to my student's understanding of math concepts and number sense. 4 Square Math is a research based spiral review of math skills that builds in depth and complexity. All material is CCSS aligned for Kindergarten Mathematics. Students begin the 4 square progression with identifying and practicing number recognition, and build to comparing quantities, composing and decomposing equations, and identifying flat and solid shapes. The implementation of 4-square in my classroom has created flexible thinking and encouraged organic math conversations. The inclusion of a pre and post assessment will support the identification of areas of strength and need. Written in an easy to understand format, this resource will boost math comprehension in the classroom for teachers who are looking for a math supplement, or at home for parents wanting to increase their child's math understanding.
