Afin d’évaluer cet impact, ce travail de recherche a été établi au sein d’un lycée professionnel des Ardennes. Les résultats de cette étude confirment le constat national : les jeunes sont peu informés et l’équipe éducative, faute de moyens, peine à s’investir. Enfin, la place des parents dans cette éducation est encore à définir. Il semble nécessaire d’uniformiser cette pratique afin de définir une politique d’action cohérente et globale, à l’instar d’autres pays européens

En France, la contraception est une réalité pour presque tous, pourtant, le nombre d’IVG reste stable, notamment chez les jeunes. Notre étude a pour but, de faire l’état des lieux des IVG réalisées chez les mineures au CHU de Pointe à Pitre, et de faire des propositions pour améliorer la prévention des grossesses non désirées. Cette étude est rétrospective et descriptive. Elle porte sur 129 patientes mineures, ayant bénéficié d’une IVG au centre d’orthogénie du CHU de Pointe à Pitre, entre le 01 janvier 2010 et le 31 décembre 2010. Les données sont issues de dossiers médicaux et d’entretiens avec la psychologue de l’unité d’orthogénie (67 des patientes). Les critères étudiés sont les caractéristiques socio-démographiques, psychologiques, légales et médicales. La moyenne d’âge était de 15,95 ans. 91,5 % des patientes étaient scolarisées. 49% des patientes vues par la psychologue vivaient dans une famille monoparentale avec leur mère et 29 avaient évoqué des difficultés psychologiques en lien avec l’IVG. La contraception était présente avant l’IVG dans 64,3% des cas. Il y avait soit un défaut d’utilisation du préservatif (67 patientes), soit une mauvaise observance de la pilule (22 patientes). Une accentuation de l’éducation sexuelle en milieu scolaire permettrait de sensibiliser les jeunes aux risques sexuels. Certaines catégories sociales (familles monoparentales) devraient faire l’objet d’une attention particulière au travers des actions des réseaux d’accompagnements familiaux. L’entretien psychologique est important dans le cadre de la prise en charge des IVG chez les mineures. L’adaptation de la contraception à chaque patiente en optimiserait l’observance.

In addition, because family planning programmes often significantly affect population growth, the study examines the impacts of family planning on fertility and health, and the human rights implications of family planning programmes. In considering the book's conclusions about the impact of population growth on development, four caveats should be noted. First, the effects of population growth vary from place to place and over time. Thus, blanket statements about overall effects often cannot be made. Where possible, the authors note the contexts in which population effects are strongest and weakest. Second, all of the outcomes examined in this book are influenced by factors other than population growth. Moreover, the impact of population growth may itself vary according to the presence or absence of other factors. This again makes bl anket statements about the effects of population growth difficult.
