Book Description
Amy's first book of poetry is written as an awakening. She explores writing as a journey that contemplates the existence of spirit and energy as interactions within herself, others, and the universe as a whole. A path of awareness through the honest writings of her darkest manic pain and the light of infinite love. Written with an abundance of different perceptions, while including a supernatural way that most deny or don't consider.

Book Description
Annie Johnson Flint was born in New Jersey, USA on Christmas Eve in 1866, now over 150 years ago. Crippled with arthritis throughout her life, hers was a difficult journey to glory - but, perhaps similar to Fanny Crosby, she did not let her physical limitations prevent her from leaving us with an incredible legacy of her writing. This collection of one hundred of her poems contains all of her most well-known writings, as well many of the lesser-known ones. Many of them reflect an unwavering faith in her God and and His promises and a belief that He was always with her and supporting her, and that He had a plan for her life, even though her way might be hard and she couldn't currently see what his purposes for her might be. Her unwavering reliance on God's grace to cope with trials on a daily basis is also very evident, as is her deep love for her Saviour, Jesus Christ. What also shines through many of her poems is a love of God's creation, and this fact is made all the more remarkable because her arthritis would have prevented her from exploring so much of it.Annie's writing has been an inspiration to so many over the decades, particularly those passing through difficult times of illness or pain, including the pain of bereavement. Her most well-known poem "He Giveth More Grace", the title of this collection, has been set to music and recorded by a number of singers and choirs, touching and helping millions in the process. In 2016, Bible teacher Ravi Zacharias quoted this hymn in a sermon and described Annie as 'one of the greatest hymn writers.'However, in recent decades Annie's poems have not been easily available in print. It was therefore decided to publish this collection to bring her work to a new audience and to make it available in an attractive form for those who already appreciate it. This collection is an annotated version in the sense that each poem is accompanied by some relevant Bible verses. As we thank God for the life and work of Annie, we pray that He will bless this project and help many more through her timeless prose.

Book Description
Little changes can make a big, big difference! In The Little Book of Big Change, psychologist Amy Johnson shows you how to rewire your brain and overcome your bad habits—once and for all. No matter what your bad habit is, you have the power to change it. Drawing on a powerful combination of neuroscience and spirituality, this book will show you that you are not your habits. Rather, your habits and addictions are the result of simple brain wiring that is easily reversed. By learning to stop bad habits at the source, you will take charge of your habits and addictions for good. Anything done repeatedly has the potential to form neural circuitry in the brain. In this light, habits and addictions are impersonal brain wiring problems that result from taking your habitual thinking as truth, and acting on that thinking in the form of doing your habit—over and over. This book offers a number of small changes you can make in your everyday life that will help you stop your bad habit in its tracks. If you want to understand the science behind your habit, make the decision to end it, and commit to real, lasting change, this book will help you to finally take charge of your life—once and for all.

Book Description
Poetry. "Offense given; offense taken. Betrayals remembered and the betrayers unforgiven. Kent Johnson's mordant poems burn away the scrimshaw, the lace-making, the dreck that passes for poetry today, exposing the hypocrisy of our official poetry culture where a cadre of pampered bourgeoisie imagine themselves enlightened revolutionaries, and the poetics of the avant-garde has congealed into a set of implicit rules more formulaic than the traditions it seeks to supplant. A book like this is rare and necessary in every age. Let the refiner's fire break forth, lest universal darkness bury all."--James Chapson "Kent Johnson is an avant-garde poet without an avant-garde...[He is] an antidote to the sentimental courtesies and complacencies that prevent a conversation about what and where poetry might be from soon beginning."--Keith Tuma "[Kent] Johnson's poems are like unchained pit bulls tossed into a school yard--somebody is going to get bit. But you almost have to admire all that taut muscle & those unstoppable jaws."--Ron Silliman
