This story is about my life's journey before and af ter Ronald Treinen's death. He was my husband and a naval intelligence officer. He asked me to make him a promise: that if he ever died suddenly, I would have his death checked out. This man gave all his time, service and dedication to his career, all while moving his large blended family across the United States, seven times innine years. Yet, he received lies, broken promises and an untimely death sentence. I never heard him complain.... Until he decided to get out of the Navy. Then, he ex plained to me why he was leaving.Last, I write about how my family dealt with his death and faced the future without him.
