Arnold brings to the Biblical study of the end times his rationalistic and scientific approach. While this approach enhances, it in no way changes or attempts to correct Biblical text or its meaning. Other very unique concepts introduced by Arnold in The Eschaton include a discussion of the cleansing of the Cosmos by fire and the events that occur following our death.
