Book Description
I am deeply humbled and give all glory to God that you are now holding this book. I do not believe anything we do is by chance, nor is anything we experience whether seemingly good or bad. Most everyone throughout life is searching for greater meaning or purpose in who they are and what they do. A longing to know and understand why they are here and what ultimately is their destiny and birthright. This book recollects the journey within I also voyaged to seek out what the truth was to these most fundamental and foundational questions. I give all praise to God for by the Spirit He has guided me and convinced me to where I am now doubtless that Jesus Christ is our Lord, Savior and Redeemer. He was literally God in the flesh who was the defining Example on who we truly are and how we should live. His life, death and resurrection to eternity is the greatest Hope and Victory in all of history. I pray with all my being that you will seek out who this Jesus is for He absolutely has won my heart, and I am confident will also win yours if you truly come to know who He is. This book is my personal journey to know and live by the truth, full of stories, experiences, sorrows, challenges, heartbreaks, hope, love, passion, desire, visions, convictions and finally the revelation, wisdom and redemption in the joy of knowing who Christ Jesus truly is to all of mankind. This work is completely from the heart and I pray you will be encouraged by it and hopefully led to a more clear confidence in who you are and why you are here, and most importantly where you are going and what your true birthright really is. I give all praise and glory to God for He is worthy through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen

Book Description
The second volume of the introduction in modern Thomistic philosophy includes three parts. Part one is on epistemology, the second part is on general metaphysics and part three on natural theology. “Dr. Phillips is to be congratulated on the clear and lucid way he has set forth Thomist doctrines and especially for the manner in which he has rendered the Latin terminology of Schoolman in English, an achievement which makes his book very readable and interesting even for those unacquainted with the great treatises of Schoolman.” L.J. Walker, in Philosophy, Vol. 11, Issue 43.

Book Description
There are two tragedies in life: to live life believing God exists, and finding this to be an illusion, and to live life believing God does not exist, but finding that God does exist. Nonbelievers readily concede that belief in God is the more hopeful cosmovision, but the issue is if, in fact, this belief corresponds to reality. But can anything new be said on the issue of God’s existence? Rather than arguing deductively, as is typical in philosophy, Belief or Unbelief innovates by following an inductive approach, as is typical in science, where it infers the existence of God as more reasonable in the light of philosophic considerations and the findings of modern science. Inferential arguments sacrifice rigor and definitive conclusions, but rather aim at arriving at the likelier conclusion. Belief or Unbelief concludes that belief in God is not only a more hopeful cosmovision than unbelief, but that it is also the more reasonable inference. It is addressed to intellectually curious and open-minded lay persons, believers and nonbelievers, courageous enough to reexamine their basic convictions.

Book Description
With this book, Anna Case-Winters provides a reconstruction of the doctrine of God based on process theology and feminist thought. She takes a fresh approach to the problem of theodicy (the justification of God's goodness and omnipotence in view of the existence of evil) and contends that traditional attempts to address this problem are unsuccessful because they do not discuss the meaning of omnipotence. Once the dispute is recast, it is not a question of how much power is attributed to God, but what kind. Case-Winters provides a coherent and theologically viable doctrine of omnipotence that avoids the pitfalls of traditional beliefs.

Book Description
In recent years numerous attempts have been made by analytic philosophers to naturalize various different domains of philosophical inquiry. All of these attempts have had the common goal of rendering these areas of philosophy amenable to empirical methods, with the intention of securing for them the supposedly objective status and broad intellectual appeal currently associated with such approaches. This volume brings together internationally recognised analytic philosophers, including Alvin Plantinga, Peter van Inwagen and Robert Audi, to question the project of naturalism. The articles investigate what it means to naturalize a domain of philosophical inquiry and look at how this applies to the various sub-disciplines of philosophy including epistemology, metaphysics and the philosophy of the mind. The issue of whether naturalism is desirable is raised and the contributors take seriously the possibility that excellent analytic philosophy can be undertaken without naturalization. Controversial and thought-provoking, Analytic Philosophy Without Naturalism examines interesting and contentious methodological issues in analytic philosophy and explores the connections between philosophy and science.

Book Description
The ancient kalam cosmological argument maintains that the series of past events is finite and that therefore the universe began to exist. Two recent scientific discoveries have yielded plausible prima facie physical evidence for the beginning of the universe. The expansion of the universe points to its beginning-to a Big Bang-as one retraces the universe's expansion in time. And the second law of thermodynamics, which implies that the universe's energy is progressively degrading, suggests that the universe began with an initial low entropy condition. The kalam cosmological argument-perhaps the most discussed philosophical argument for God's existence in recent decades-maintains that whatever begins to exist must have a cause. And since the universe began to exist, there must be a transcendent cause of its beginning, a conclusion which is confirmatory of theism. So this medieval argument for the finitude of the past has received fresh wind in its sails from recent scientific discoveries. This collection reviews and assesses the merits of the latest scientific evidences for the universe's beginning. It ends with the kalam argument's conclusion that the universe has a cause-a personal cause with properties of theological significance.
