Even if you don't do drugs, this issue still concerns you; at the very least, because of how wasteful it is spending our tax dollars fighting the failed War on Drugs. While in jail, at 17, I started studying the Charter of Rights. Before I was 20, I discovered a completely new way to challenge drug laws. I was arrested for drug trafficking 7 years ago and had to admit the drugs were mine, so my friend didn't get charged as well. I represented myself in court, and during an off-the-record hearing, I gave the federal prosecutor a copy of the Charter argument my entire defense was based on; two months later, the charges were dropped.
