Lung Carcinoma is the 2nd most common cancer worldwide, with more than 2.2 million cases recorded globally in the year 2020, as well as 1.8 million deaths. It is the most common cancer in men and the 2nd most common cancer in women, with an estimated lifetime risk of developing the disease of 1 in 15 for men and 1 in 17 for women.
