There is renewed interest all over the country in the famous book Vedic Mathematics written by the late Shankaracharya of Puri Bharati Krishna Tirthji (1884-1960). Considering the importance of the contents of the book the Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan has undertaken a programme of Seminars and Workshops on various issues connected with that book. The first major workshop was organised by the Pratishthan at Jaipur in association with Rajasthan University.
