El Misal oficial de la Custodia de Tierra Santa, objeto del comentario, presenta los santuarios de Galilea, Judea, Monte Nebo, Damasco y Egipto. Cada santuario tiene uno o varios formularios de Misa; cada formulario se explica siguiendo tres pasos. 1. Se da una breve nota histórica relativa a los lugares (título, mención bíblica, testimonio en los documentos antiguos y, más tarde, los libros de la Custodia de Tierra Santa). 2. Indicación de la proveniencia de los formularios (lecturas y oraciones) y citas de las lecturas bíblicas con su título correspondiente. 3. Por último se hace el comentario bíblico y litúrgico de los textos: Objeto de la anámnesis según los textos bíblicos y Aspectos teológicos y pastorales según la eucología. Ambos aspectos se relacionan entre sí. El cuerpo del libro es precedido por un estudio histórico del «Misal votivo» de la Custodia de Tierra Santa, y un segundo estudio teológico de lo que significa y es en realidad la celebración del Misterio de Cristo en los Santos Lugares.
