The decay width and mass of the D{sub s1}(2536) meson are measured via the decay channel D{sub s1}+ 2!D*+ K{sub S}° using 385 fb−1 of data recorded with the BABAR detector in the vicinity of the [Upsilon](4S) resonance at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy electron-positron collider. The result for the decay width is [Gamma](D{sub s1}+) = 0.92 ± 0.03 (stat.) ± 0.04 (syst.)MeV. For the mass, a value of m(D{sub s1}+) = 2535.08 ± 0.01 (stat.) ± 0.15 (syst.)MeV/c2 is obtained. The mass difference between the D{sub s1}+ and the D*+ is measured to be m(D{sub s1}+)-m(D*+) = 524.83 ± 0.01 (stat.) ± 0.04 (syst.)MeV/c2, representing a significant improvement compared to the current world average. The unnatural spin-parity assignment for the D{sub s1}+ meson is confirmed.

For the mass, a value of m(D{sub s1}{sup {+-}}) = (2534.85 {+-} 0.02 {+-} 0.40) MeV/c{sup 2} has been obtained. The systematic error is dominated by the uncertainty on the D*{sup {+-}} mass. The mass difference between the D{sub s1}{sup {+-}} and D*{sup {+-}} has been measured to be {Delta}m = (524.85 {+-} 0.02 {+-} 0.04) MeV/c{sup 2}.

The mass m[sub [eta][sub c]] and total width [Lambda][sub tot][sup [eta][sub c]] of the [eta][sub c] meson have been measured in two-photon interactions at the SLAC e[sup +]e[sup -] asymmetric B-Factory with the BABAR detector. With a sample of approximately 2500 reconstructed [eta][sub c] [yields] K[sub S][sup 0]K[sup [+-]] [pi][sup [-+]] decays in 88 fb[sup -1] of data, the results are m[sup [eta][sub c]] = 2982.5 [+-] 1.1 (stat) [+-] 0.9 (syst) MeV/c[sup 2] and [Lambda][sub tot][sup [eta][sub c]] = 34.3 [+-] 2.3 (stat) [+-] 0.9 (syst) MeV/c[sup 2]. Using the same decay mode, a second resonance with 112 [+-] 24 events is observed with a mass of 3630.8 [+-] 3.4 (stat) [+-] 1.0 (syst) MeV/c[sup 2] and width of 17.0 [+-] 8.3 (stat) [+-] 2.5 (syst) MeV/c[sup 2]. This observation is consistent with expectations for the [eta][sub c](2S) state.

In a sample of 58 million J/[psi] events collected with the BES II detector, the process J/[psi][yields][gamma][eta][sub c] is observed in five different decay channels:[gamma] K[sup+] K[sup -][pi][sup+][pi][sup -][pi][sup+][pi][sup -], [gamma]K[sup[+-]] K[sub S][sup 0][pi][sup[-+]] (with K[sub S][sup 0][yields][pi][sup+][pi][sup -]), [gamma][phi][phi] (with[phi][yields] K[sup+]K[sup -]) and[gamma]p[bar p]. From a combined fit of all five channels, they determine the mass and full-width of[eta][sub c] to be m[sub[eta][sub c]]= 2977.5[+-] 1.0 (stat.)[+-] 1.2 (syst.) MeV/c[sup 2] and[Lambda][sub[eta][sub c]]= 17.0[+-] 3.7 (stat.)[+-] 7.4 (syst.) MeV/c[sup 2].
