I have long felt the need to tell the true story of events I have personally experienced in the Middle East. Letters to Dalia carries additional messages aside from truth seeking: tolerance, co-existence, and above all, the importance of being a good human being. As altruistic as this might sound, I dread the thought of a future generation, represented by Dalia, that is willing to harm or be harmed in the name of slogans, instead of cultivating meaningful ideas and values. Dalia represents a global generation that needs to preserve its mental and spiritual beliefs in order to preserve us all. Dalia will find her path and will lead others into a better future.
