Les besoins de coopération sont réduits et l’aspect esthétique des appareils améliorés. Les minivis permettent de limiter l’appareil orthodontique à une seule arcade ou à un segment d’arcade, ce qui permet d’améliorer la prise en charge globale de l’adulte par les omnipraticiens. Cependant, malgré l’intérêt suscité par ces nouveaux dispositifs, le recul clinique est encore limité.
