Se abordará un tratamiento concreto y detallado de ciertos temas clave de la realidad económica mundial para trata de detectar y comprender las características estructurales del sistema económico, las relaciones económicas mundiales, las desigualdades existentes y los problemas sociales. Se darán a conocer las características de las estructuras económicas de los países centrales y de los periféricos, la división internacional del trabajo en la que se insertan y el ámbito institucional en el que se desarrollan estas relaciones.
