La m-santé est un concept récent (2005) appartenant à la télésanté. Elle concerne entre autre les applications mobiles et objets connectés. Cet écrit s'intéresse plus particulièrement aux applications mobiles de santé et de bien-être ainsi qu'à l'adhésion ou non des patients à cette nouvelle forme de suivi de sa santé. Pour ce faire nous avons réalisé une enquête quantitative et qualitative auprès des diabétiques de Franche-Comté. Soixanteneuf diabétiques ont répondu au questionnaire quantitatif, et six d'entre eux ont été interviewés au cours d'entretiens semi-dirigés. Cela nous a permis d'établir un état des lieux. D'après les résultats obtenus, nous pouvons constater que les répondants ont une certaine connaissance du domaine de la santé mobile, ou tout du moins ils ont une idée de son utilisation sans connaitre le terme de la m-santé (88%). Ils seraient des usagers pragmatiques dont les attentes sont liées à l'expérience de leur pathologie. Ils ne veulent pas d'une applièation gadget qui nuirait à la pérennité de son utilisation. C'est ainsi que pour les diabétiques, les fonctionnalités les plus plébiscitées sont le carnet électronique du suivi de la glycémie, l'aide au calcul des glucides et de la dose d'insuline à s'injecter. Cependant bien des craintes et appréhensions existent ainsi que des réticences dues à l'âge, mais la première difficulté est le choix d'une application dans les Apps Stores. Globalement les patients seraient davantage favorables aux conseils dans le choix apportés par le médecin qu'à une prescription. Et le pharmacien pourrait conseiller leur utilisation comme pour un dispositif médical. Cette nouvelle forme de suivi de sa santé est perçue comme pouvant aider le patient dans la prise en charge de sa pathologie (68% pensent que les applications mobiles sont utiles), à condition que celle-ci soit simple et ergonomique. Elle pourrait notamment être utilisée comme moyen d'échange avec un professionnel de sa santé ou d'alerte avec un proche.
