Book Description
Excerpt from The Latin School Register, Vol. 39: December, 1919 In spite of this Latin had by far the better of the argument. In three of the four periods Latin had the ball twice in scoring position and in the last period, under the excellent generalship of Camp bell, was advancing steadily towards the E. H. S. Goal by means of rushing and the throwing of two forward passes, so that when the final whistle blew, it was Latin's ball on English's 15-yard line. At no time did English have the ball in scoring position. The nearest it came to Latin's goal was the 40-yard line.
