Le strutture prefabbricate in cemento armato e cemento armato precompresso rappresentano, tradizionalmente, una delle più interessanti soluzioni per l’edilizia industriale. Oggi l’evoluzione della prefabbricazione valica in modo deciso tale stringente ambito tecnico, inserendosi in molti contesti per fornire soluzioni che ottimizzino tempi e costi dei cantieri. Il mondo della prefabbricazione è in continua evoluzione e spesso precorre le tempistiche a livello normativo, muovendosi autonomamente nell’ambito della ricerca applicata. Tutto questo costituisce la particolarità di un sistema che deve rispondere a mutevoli e vari scenari normativi e non solo a esigenze di carattere strettamente strutturale. The Structure of the Ordinary, the culmination of decades of environmental observation and design research, is a recognition and analysis of everyday environment as the wellspring of urban design and formal architecture. The author's central argument is that built environment is universally organized by the Orders of Form, Place, and Understanding.
