This Final Report presents an administrative summary of the Joint Services Electronics Program (JSEP) at the Polytechnic Institute of New York for the contract period from 1 April 1974 through 31 March 1978. Progress Reports 39 through 42 to the Joint Services Technical Advisory Committee (JSTAC) covering the period to September 1977 along with Progress Report 43 comprise a set of technical progress reports for the entire JSEP at the polytechnic for the duration of the referenced contract and are to be considered as part of this Final Report by reference. Progress Report 43 will also provide a bridge to the continuation of the research program to September 1978 under the successor contract, F49602-78-C-0074. Appendix I to this report provides a set of listings arranged alphabetically by order of first authours of the papers published, during each period of the contract by faculty and other researchers supported and stimulated by the JSEP at the Polytechnic. Appendix II presents the more noteworthy achievements under the Joint Services Electronics Program, as documented each year in the series of special reports entitled 'Some Significant Research Accomplishments.'
