"This report, prepared at the request of PBR Hawaii, on behalf of their client Chalon International of Hawaii, Inc., summarizes the findings of five archaeological surveys conducted by Paul H. Rosendahl, Ph.D., Inc. (PHRI) within the Kapanui agricultural subdivision and Mahukona property project areas, located in the lands of Kapaanui, Kou, Kamano, Mahukona 1 and 2, Hihiu, and Kaoma, North Kohala District, Island of Hawaii (TMK:3-5-7-02:11 and TMK:3:5-7-03:1-3, 10-14, 16-18). The five surveys were done by Kaschko (1984), Dunn and Rosendhal (1989), Burgett and Rosendahl (1990), Carlson and Rosendahl (1990), and Burgett and Rosendahl (1991). During the surveys, 179 sites comprising 465 features were identified. Ninety-nine (59.3%) of sites had habitation functions assigned to one or more features" -- Summary.

Archaeological survey of approximately 140 acres in the Puʻuhonua subdivision development parcel project area, located within the land of Kalaoa 5th, North Kona District, Island of Hawaii (TMK: 3-7-3-10: Por. 27). The basic objective of the survey was to provide information appropriate to and sufficient for the preparation of a state land use boundary amendment petition to be submitted to the Hawaii State Land Use Commisssion.
