Lugar destacado tiene su critica a Aristoteles, al que considera su maestro, pero del que se va apartando en el tema que nos ocupa, para llegar asi a una solucion que a juicio del autor esta mas en sintonia con el dato cientifico, asi como con destacados filosofos modernos que se caracterizan por mantener la tesis de un "evolucionismo inteligente.""
