Anatomy of the extremities described gives an idea of the construction of the limbs in general and covers the anatomy of the whole body. Fundamentals of medical genetics are dealt with so that the student can understand the genetic basis of diseases. General principles of anthropology is briefly covered to make the student appreciate that anatomy is the foundation not only of medicine, but also of man's physical and cultural development.
