Book Description
The psychological and religious implications of alchemy were Jung's major preoccupation during the last thirty years of his life. The essays composing the present volume complete the publication of his alchemial researches, to which three entire volumes have been devoted ^DDL the monumental Mysterium Coniunctionis, Psychology and Alchemy, and Aion ^DDL besides shorter papers in other volumes. This collection of shorter Alchemial Studies has special value as an introduction to Jung's work on alchemy. The first study, on Chinese alchemy, marked the beginning of his interest in the subject, and was originally published in a volume written jointly with Richard Wilhelm. The other four are now published for the first time completely in English.

Book Description
A super human suddenly appears in present day Memphis, Tennessee, during a horrendous explosion of undetermined origin! Who is he? Where is he from? What is his mission? Why doesn't even he know who he really is, and how he ended up in Memphis? He gets into confrontations with drug dealers and the military, almost starts a nuclear war, falls in love twice, unknowingly becomes involved in an insidious plot and struggle for domination of the entire planet, and must face the second of his kind in an epic battle to the death. This is an extremely well thought out and fascinating book. It takes the concept of a super human to a depth never before explored. The science is realistic and well done, and the sociological and psychological implications of a super human are deeply, deeply probed. You will easily be able to tell that the writer did an enormous amount of research to make this novel "live." The style is very cinematic, and you will have to constantly remind yourself that this story is fiction.

Book Description
The correspondence of Robert Duncan and Charles Olson is one of the foundational literary exchanges of twentieth-century American poetry. The 130 letters collected in this volume begin in 1947 just after the two poets first meet in Berkeley, California, and continue to Olson’s death in January 1970. Both men initiated a novel stance toward poetry, and they matched each other with huge accomplishments, an enquiring, declarative intelligence, wide-ranging interests in history and occult literature, and the urgent demand to be a poet. More than a literary correspondence, An Open Map gives insight into an essential period of poetic advancement in cultural history.

Book Description
As a young man growing up near Basel, Jung was fascinated and disturbed by tales of Nietzsche's brilliance, eccentricity, and eventual decline into permanent psychosis. These volumes, the transcript of a previously unpublished private seminar, reveal the fruits of his initial curiosity: Nietzsche's works, which he read as a student at the University of Basel, had moved him profoundly and had a lifelong influence on his thought. During the sessions the mature Jung spoke informally to members of his inner circle about a thinker whose works had not only overwhelmed him with the depth of their understanding of human nature but also provided the philosophical sources of many of his own psychological and metapsychological ideas. Above all, he demonstrated how the remarkable book Thus Spake Zarathustra illustrates both Nietzsche's genius and his neurotic and prepsychotic tendencies. Since there was at that time no thought of the seminar notes being published, Jung felt free to joke, to lash out at people and events that irritated or angered him, and to comment unreservedly on political, economic, and other public concerns of the time. This seminar and others, including the one recorded in Dream Analysis, were given in English in Zurich during the 1920s and 1930s.
