Book Description
The Lord has warned us that many traumatic and tumultuous events will take place in the latter days prior to the Second Coming. Can we find peace, hope and strength in the midst of these events? Using the scriptures and modern prophetic revelations, Brother Skousen clearly explains the events that will occur prior to the Savior's Second Coming. This book offers a wonderful message of hope and answers many important questions about His Return: What unique protection has the Lord promised the righteous in the latter days? Why must so many dreadful and turbulent events occur in the latter days? What organizations, laws and covenants must be established prior to His Return? What must take place in order to redeem the land of Zion? How will the city of New Jerusalem be planned and built? What does it really mean to live in the "fullness" of times? How will this eventually be fulfilled? How can we best prepare ourselves for His Return? This eBook includes the original index, footnotes, table of contents and page numbering from the print format.

To them, he’ll always be a criminal. To her, he’s the man worth fighting for. Eight years ago, Shane’s life changed forever. Convicted of a crime he didn’t commit, he lost everything. His friends turned their backs on him. He was a pariah to all – except her. Mallory loved him from afar. She knew nothing about the robbery or assault, but she knew Shane couldn’t be guilty. Now he’s out of prison, but not free of the animosity and judgment from the community. Being together proves more and more difficult when someone makes it their mission to destroy him by setting him up for a series of crimes. With everyone urging Mallory to keep her distance, her heart telling her to stay the course, and an increase in disturbing incidents, it’s all she can do to remain focused and keep Shane out of prison. Author: Janet Van Hierden
Publisher: WestBowPress
ISBN: 1490818197
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 238
Book Description
I pray that this great book will be placed in the hands of thousands of men and women across the globe. Spiritual authority and hearing the voice of God is so ably articulated, that even the ‘new’ Christian will be armed and equipped to identify and recognize these challenges when they arise. Dr. Graham Power Power Group/Global Day of Prayer Being Janet Van Hierden’s pastor has been a pleasure. She is a godly woman, deeply prayerful, who adores the Bride of Christ, and practices what she preaches. If there were anyone in our congregation whose prayers for the Bride I would appreciate and value, it would be hers. Bishop Todd Atkinson Via Apostolica & River of Life Church Being gripped with the realization that a great harvest of souls is upon us, there is a sense of urgency as the author through personal stories and testimonies gives practical advice in areas such as: Gaining advantage through “proper response in suffering”, and exposing “a deep secret of satan” Aquiring “authority through unity in marriage” What it means for a “woman to surround a man” for his protection This pithy, but easy to read manual helps prepare the Bride for the return of the Bridegroom, while leaving the reader wanting more.

Book Description
Why do so many people think that no one can know the exact time of Christ's second coming? In Matthew 16:3, Jesus rebuked the Pharisees and the Sadducees, because they could not discern the signs of the times. Jesus then tells them the only sign they will receive is the sign of the prophet Jonah. This is very interesting. In Chapter Nine of the book of Daniel, the angel Gabriel gives Daniel the prophecy of the seventy weeks. He tells Daniel that when the decree goes out to rebuild Jerusalem, which happened in 455 B.C., sixty nine weeks (or 483 years) later the Messiah will be cut off and killed. Subtract 455 from 483 and you arrive at the year 28 A.D. It is the year 28 A.D. when Jesus is talking with the Pharisees and the Sadducess as recorded in Matthew 16:3. The learned leaders of the Hebrew people know all too well the significance of Jesus' presence at this time in history. This is why Jesus does not give the leaders a sign pertaining to his coming, they already know he is here. Instead, Jesus points to Jonah as the sign for his resurrection.

Let the Nations be Glad
Author: John Piper
Publisher: Inter-Varsity Press
ISBN: 1789740606
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 370
Book Description
'Mission is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exist because worship doesn't. Worship is ultimate.' John Piper's contemporary classic draws on key biblical texts to demonstrate that worship is the ultimate goal of the church and that proper worship fuels missionary outreach. Piper offers a biblical defence of God's supremacy in all things, providing a sound theological foundation for missions. He examines whether Jesus is the only way to salvation and issues a passionate plea for God-centredness in the missionary enterprise, seeking to define the scope of the task and the means for reaching 'all nations'. Let the Nations Be Glad! is a trusted resource for missionaries, pastors, church leaders, youth workers, seminary students, and all who want to connect their labours to God's global purposes. This third edition has been revised and expanded throughout and includes new material on the 'prosperity gospel'.
