William Kellie (b. ca. 1700) was born in Galloway. He married Margaret Kilpatrick and they were the parents of seven children. One of his children was Robert Kellie/Kelly (1734-1808) who was born in Kirkmardrine, Scotland and married Mary Gibson. They were the parents of four children.
