Book Description
The Asian Racing Federation Council on Anti-illegal Betting and Related Financial Crime (“the ARF Council”) released in May a new publication: “The State of Illegal Betting”. The State of Illegal Betting report examines the current situation of illegal betting, what this means in relation to legal betting, and what both will look like in the future. The report includes analysis of more than 500 betting websites to examine their licensing status, products offered, website traffic, server locations and other data points. The report also includes a series of commentaries from ARF Council members on how sports data can fuel illegal betting; the greater negative impacts of illegal betting and gambling-related harm; international and intergovernmental issues around corruption in sport; and notable examples and development in sports law in relation to illegal betting. The report also includes contributions from INTERPOL and the UNODC regarding their views on the relationship between illegal betting, sports corruption, and organised crime.

Book Description
This book is designed to help you be a better handicapper. Its single purpose is to relay tips and techniques learned the hard way over 40+ years to help you improve your skill at the two major factors most affecting your overall success:- Determining winners- Deciding what and how to betThe author leaves it to you to implement and potentially perfect the other major factor which determines whether you win or lose overall. That is, how to manage your money.Without a mastery of all three of these critical areas of our collective sport, we're all still doomed to hit a really big one on occasion and then proceed to give it all back over the next couple days. So, despite money management being critical to overall profitability, it is beyond the scope of this book. From here on, we'll only be dealing with how to get more of our value bets cashable. Handicapping, selecting and then betting on winning horses. In whatever wager you prefer. And we always have too many choices in that area. As well as many options outside the sport. If you're like me, you may have "dabbled" with Fan Duel or Draft Kings as your venue du jour, on everything from baseball, basketball and football to even soccer, golf or hockey to provide even more "action". Yet, if those of you reading this are like me, we invariably are drawn back to the great equine athletes - and their equally athletic riders along with the majestic spectacle of a thoroughbred race. The goal of this book is to give you some additional cogent information in the form of guidelines, methods and perceptions that you can use to incorporate into your current handicapping methodology. If it helps you cash a few more tickets over time with profitable return, both your purchase and my writing this will be worth it.
