Editors Jason E. Lane and Kevin Kinser of the Institute for Global Education Policy Studies at State University of New York, and begin with an overview of the development of IBCs. The first chapter, by Jason Lane, traces the history of such institutions and discusses various intentions behind their creation and the roles they play in the host country.
