Book Description
Jane Carson-Sandler, a native of Northern New Jersey, entered the US Air Force Nurse Corps in 1969 and retired in 1999 after serving 30 years of active and reserve duty. Seven years after entering the military, she was raped in her own home while her three year old son was lying beside her. Thirty eight years have passed. This notorious rapist and serial killer, known as the East Area Rapist (EAR), has raped 50 women and has murdered twelve people including men and women in California. He still has not been caught. With raw emotion, Janes story entails how she survived not only this trauma, but some other bruising encounters with death such as her battle with alcohol and other serious health issues. Through the Grace and love of God, Jane went from being a victim to a survivor. She describes her God inspired journey in making this transition in hopes of helping and inspiring others. Jane holds an MA in Management from Pepperdine University and a BS in Nursing from California State University. In February of 2013, Jane was interviewed on the TV program Dark Minds, on the Investigation Discovery Channel. Frozen in Fear is the amazing story of one brave Christian womans spiritual journey from a life-threatening rape, alcoholism and complete despair to Gods healing through his peace and grace. A great inspirational read. John Kelly, Profiler, Co-Star Dark Minds

Book Description
A heartfelt guide for meeting difficult times with mindfulness, compassion, and courage—from a psychotherapist and Buddhist practitioner who learned from her own crisis. Features explorations of the three types of fear and practices to transform into opportunities for personal growth. This heartfelt guide transforms challenging times into surmountable journeys that we can emerge from by learning how to work with—rather than against—fear. Drawing from traditional Buddhist teachings on the bardo, a Tibetan word most often associated with the period between death and rebirth, Buddhist practitioner Susan Gillis Chapman offers guidance for those times when life seems to turn upside down. Amidst such difficulties—whether it’s navigating the end of a relationship, a health scare, or other unexpected challenges—the fearful mind tends to panic. But Chapman, informed by her years working as psychotherapist, skillfully intercepts our uncertainty to show how we can let go of assumptions and allow something new to be reborn. Using personal examples from her own bardo crisis—navigating a cancer diagnosis during the pandemic—and offering contemplative prompts for inner-reflection and meditation practices throughout, she demystifies the main kinds of fear people experience and reveals how to meet them with love. This powerful resource will help restore equilibrium when life feels chaotic, and what’s more, uncover truly transformative opportunities for personal growth in even the most difficult circumstances.

Book Description
The first years of human life are more important than we ever realized. In Scared Sick, Robin Karr-Morse connects psychology, neurobiology, endocrinology, immunology, and genetics to demonstrate how chronic fear in infancy and early childhood— when we are most helpless—lies at the root of common diseases in adulthood. Compassionate and based on the latest research, Scared Sick will unveil a major public health crisis. Highlighting case studies and cutting-edge scientific findings, Karr- Morse shows how our innate fight-or-flight system can injure us if overworked in the early stages of life. Persistent stress can trigger diabetes, heart disease, obesity, depression, and addiction later on.

Glass reveals the interconnectedness of what we consume, both mentally and nutritionally, emphasizing that cleansing of the body alone will offer only a temporary solution if we do not also apply the same cleansing principles to our thoughts and actions. He provides delicious plant-based smoothie and meal recipes, step-by-step instructions to resolve blockages and stagnation in the physical or emotional body, including tips on liver health and healthy elimination, guidance on how to cleanse the proliferation of toxic thought patterns in the mind, as well as outlining a supportive Karma/Forgiveness cleanse ritual to detoxify the spirit. He explains how the soul is encased in five coverings, known as Koshas, and details how to harmonize all five Koshas through a plant-based diet, exercise, yoga, breathing techniques, and meditation/introspective practices. Citing wisdom from teachers he has revered over the years and sages past and present, as well as teachings from the Vedas and other ancient texts, Glass reinforces that how we eat, think, and live directly impacts our health in body, mind, spirit, and our relationships. He also shows how the principles of the Total Life Cleanse inherently support the environment. By empowering you with a new way of thinking, seeing, and being, the Total Life Cleanse program allows you not only to heal yourself by changing your life patterns but also to heal others, as we foster a deeper connection to the life that surrounds us and ultimately the universe.
