Of these only Michigan and Idaho have a larger aver crop. The average commercial apple production in the United states' Swycar period, l927 28 to 1931-32, was bushels of Which 1 bnshels, or 16. 6 per cent was exported and 79, bushels, or 83. Cent, consumed domestically. It thus appears that the total United commercial crop for 1933 of bushels is not much above the home consumption.
