Even though it is impossible to describe and discuss the plethora of surgical techniques, implants and instruments completely, we also tried to create a systematic approach for decision making and give an overview on instrumentation. As flanging techniques represent a very demanding surgery, the aim of this book is to steepen the learning curve and to encourage surgeons to add the presented techniques to their surgical armamentarium.
