It is not a history textbook in the strictest sense; but rather a glimpse into Everett's past, enticing the reader to expand his explorations beyond its pages. It is structured to be read, either linearly and orderly from cover to cover, or casually, through the random selection of chapter or section. Some of the chapters waiting to be discovered and explored include: biographies of Everett's personalities; historic sites, events, and groups; poetry and photography; and Everett's history as recorded by the original history makers. There is even a fact-filled chapter, titled, "Did you know that ...': it contains fascinating tidbits of knowledge, just the right sized morsels to share over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! Note that although the chapters are not strictly interrelated and interdependent, several themes are interwoven throughout the book. In the epilogue, the author revisits these themes, as she reflects upon the main question posed in the introduction. NOTE: This book is being published as a joint fundraiser among various local non-profit organizations; all donations will be directed toward a special project, yet to be determined.
