Le jeu chez l'enfant est reconnu comme un facteur crucial du développement psychique de l'enfant, en même temps qu'un indicateur de santé psychique. Chez le bébé, le jeu est différent de celui de l'enfant. On peut différencier les jeux impliquant une auto-sensorialité, les jeux d'activité libre avec manipulation du corps ou d'objets et les jeux interactifs. Ces derniers jeux relationnels impliquant le bébé et un partenaire (jeux de coucou par exemple) sont au centre de ce travail. Après avoir abordé le cadre général des interactions du nourrisson avec ses partenaires, ce travail porte plus précisément sur le jeu interactif chez le bébé : au travers de différents auteurs et chercheurs qui ont travaillé ce sujet, nous tentons de définir spécifiquement ce qu'est un jeu interactif, sa place et son rôle dans le lien parent-enfant et dans le développement du nourrisson. Ensuite, nous exposons le protocole de recherche proposé par Mme J.Rochette-Guglielmi et mis en place cette année au sein de l'Unité Parents-Enfant (service de psychiatrie infanto-juvénile du Pr Poinso à Marseille). Cette recherche s'attache à évaluer l'évolution dans le temps des signes de souffrance de la dyade mère-bébé par des outils de mesure de la souffrance psychique portant sur trois axes : le bébé (Alarme Détresse Bébé, A.Guedeney et al., 2001), la mère (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale, J.Cox et al., 1987) et leur interaction (Pediatric Infant Parent Exam, Fiese et al., 2001). L'outil d'évaluation de l'interaction est une échelle portant sur un moment de jeu. Enfin, ce travail sera illustré par un cas clinique, avec une attention particulière sur le jeu interactif au travers de l'échelle d'évaluation des interactions utilisée dans le protocole de recherche. Nous conclurons en nous interrogeant sur la pertinence et l'intérêt de cette échelle.

Our brain is not organized to automatically perceive that each family has an emotional system, fine-tuned by evolution and "valuing" its survival as a whole, as much as the survival of any individual. It is easier to see this emotional system function in ants or mice but not in humans. The emotional system is organized to snooker us humans: encouraging us to take sides, run away from others, to pressure others, to get sick, to blame others, and to have great difficulty in seeing our part in problems. It is hard to see that we become anxious, stressed out and even that we are difficult to deal with. But "thinking systems" can open the doors of perception, allowing us to experience the world in a different way. This book offers both coaching ideas and stories from leaders as to strategies to break out from social control by de-triangling, using paradoxes, reversals and other types of interruptions of highly linked emotional processes. Time is needed to think clearly about the automatic nature of the two against one triangle. Time and experience is required as we learn strategies to put two people together and get self outside the control of the system. In addition, it takes time to clarify and define one's principles, to know what "I" will or will not do and to be able to take a stand with others with whom we are very involved. The good news is that systems' thinking is possible for anyone. It is always possible for an individual to understand feelings and to integrate them with their more rational brains. In so doing, an individual increases his or her ability to communicate despite misunderstandings or even rejection from important others.
